When I first did the course I was looking for a new experience, another way of looking around me and inside me. I didn’t believe I was able to slow or calm down, because I’m a very fast person. Fast thinking, fast doing and fast solving the daily problems. I barely used to take time to look at my own needs and I was always thinking ahead and planning the future.
I’m glad I took time to do the course, I’m glad I met such amazing new people. I’m so happy that we did the course before this big global madness that doesn’t seem to be close to an end. It was the perfect timing and it allowed us to practice more often that we will normally do in our regular daily life. I’m feeling calmer and quieter than ever and even when I don’t meditate I can recall the eyes open feeling and use it when I’m more stressed. I’m feeling thankful for this experience and I’m happy and proud. I discovered a new dimension of myself and I learnt to appreciate and to be more kind with me. I will try to meditate often for the rest of my life and I believe this will help me to be happier and to live the present and in the present.
